We understand and highly respect the privacy of our guests. We never share your email address, phone number or any other personal information with anyone.
 

Booking Policy                                                                                           

The person who's name the reservation is under must check in and pay the balance owing before access can be given to other members in your travelling group who arrive earlier. No Pets allowed on the property including those of visiting guests.   Off Site Visitors are permitted on the property between 10:00AM and 10:00PM.   Full payment is required at check in by the person who reserved the cottage.

Deposit:
A deposit, payable by Visa or MasterCard) is required to reserve a cottage.   Balance owing is due at check in.   A deposit  guarantees that the cottage will be keep for you for your arrival just as it guarantees Mayfield Country Cottages that the cottage has been booked/sold.  No shows or cottages that are booked out and not cancelled will be charged for the full duration of the reservation.  Partial Refunds will be given back once the cottage is rented back out for the full duration of your reservation.

Cancellation:
Cancellion Policy is that all cancellations must be made in writing by email.  A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent back to you by email.   If you cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival you will receive a full refund less a $100 non-refundalbe cancellation fee.  If you cancel within 11-30 days of arrival Refunds are only given once the the cottage has been re-rented for the full # of nights you had booked, less $100.  If you cancel within 10 days of arrival date, you will receive partial refund of your deposit if the cottage becomes re-rerented.   We do sympathize when emergenies occur however, our policy applies to cancellations made for any reason whether they be for emergency or non-emergency reasons.  Once you have booked it is understood between you and Mayfield Country Cottages that your deposit ensures that the cottage will kept for your arrival just like it guarantees Mayfield Country Cottages that the cottage is sold for those nights you have booked.  Due to unexpected emergencies outside of your control, we highly recommended that you take out Travel Insurance to cover any charges you may incur with your booking in the event you must cancel.  While we sympatize with anyone who has to cancel due to an emergency we must apply our policy to all cancelled bookings alike whether they be for emergency or non-emergency situations.  If you fail to cancel your booking, you will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.

Check In and Check Out:
While you may not get access to the cottage until after check in time, package vouchers can picked up anytime after 11am if you make those arrangements with us at least 1 day prior to arrival.  We try our best to have the cottage ready for when you arrive but on occasion we fall behind slightly.

We try our best to have all cottages ready for check in time, however, during busy periods we may have to delay check time for a brief period to ensure we complete all our necessary duties so that you find the cottage completely santized.

Beach Passes:
A complimentary beach pass (1 per cottage for 1 vehicle) is provided to you for your use during your stay. This beach pass allows unlimited free access to the beaches and National Parks, a savings of $23 per day. To access the beaches or National Parks, there is an entrance fee of $23 per day. You can pick up your beach passes anytime after noon on your arrival day but it must be returned to the office before 10pm on the final night of your stay.  A $100 Replacement cost will apply for lost passes or passes not returned to the office.  If you wish to have a beach pass during your stay with us, you will be required to prepay the replacement cost when getting the pass and this fee will be refunded back to you upon receipt of the pass.  All passes must be returned to the office before 10pm on the final night of your stay.
